Baby Bears (boys & girls)

This playful parent/child class is centered on age appropriate development and movement. An obstacle course is introduced with gymnastic skills all through it. The use of trampoline, tumble trak, and foam pit are also used. Songs, music, and group activities help to make this parent/child class a blast. Parent participation is required in class
Tiny Tots (boys & girls)
ages 3 - 5 years old

Children who meet the age requirement and can separate comfortably from their parent are appropriate for this class. This is a structured, theme-related gymnastics class with a warm-up, obstacle course, and rotations providing more advanced gymnastics opportunities. These classes include songs, beginner level skill learning, trampoline, tumble trak, foam pit, and our preschool mascots Jumping Jimmy and Jenny who engage children in a closing song to say good-bye. Cooperative games are also experienced each week as well as our bi-annual Awards Day, which is an exciting event for family members to see what children are learning in their weekly classes.

Our Recreational Girls Program is the next step following our TumbleBear Program. The ages include 5 years and up. In this program, we move into our star program which offers skill goals for each individual child. Each gymnast receives her Star Belt and a skill development chart, which the coach keeps on file. As the gymnast progresses and achieves skills, they are rewarded with stars. Once a gymnast has performed each skill on all events, that gymnast is moved up to the next level in our program. If your child is interested in starting gymnastics and did not go through our TumbleBear program...no problem...the star program also assists in placing children who have never taken a gymnastics class.

Level 2 and 3 classes are by advancement through our star program. Once children have learned the basics of gymnastics they will be able to further their learning in our more advanced gymnastics classes.

Our Recreational Boys Program uses the Star program as well and is for ages 6 and up. It is a positive, no-fail system that progresses students through gymnastics at their own pace. Boys earn stars on Vault, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, Still Rings, Floor Exercise, and Trampoline. We offer Awards Day in the gym for all our recreational classes to give students the opportunity to show family, friends, and our community the results of their hard work.

Our Tumbling Program is great for children looking into acrobats for dance, cheerleading, or maybe just gymnastics without the other events. This program is designed for both boys and girls ages 6 and up and includes learning from the fundamentals up through more advanced skills.
