At the Lynn Haven Gym

Did you notice some of the Improvements this winter? We have put new carpet down in front of the observation room. We have also added cubbies in the lobby for the children to put their belongings in. We still have the cubbies out in the gym for their convenience also. The trampoline has new pads around it. The lobby and girls bathroom has been painted. A new sign was put about the entrance door. We have also bought new equipment for all programs in our gym.

Beachside Gym

We have added a playroom for the siblings of children in classes. You now have a TV/DVD to play movies and little tike table for your kids to play on. You also have a chalk table for them to color on. We have added parallel bars for the boys to use. We have also bought a second pre school bar and some more pre school equipment.

We want to always provide you with the newest and best facility possible, the friendliest, most professional staff and the most educational curriculum. We do these things for you.

At Gymnastics Plus we provide the best possible service for you with our customer service teams. Our Lynn Haven office is open on Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 7:30pm & Saturday 9:30am –3:00pm The Beachside office is Monday-Friday 1:30-7:30pm. We have added new equipment to our cardio room. We will be selling a few pieces that we will no longer be needing. The equipment will be outside with a price tag on it. If you would like to purchase any pieces you can pay for it at the front desk. Our Sleepover is set for Friday Feb. 10th at 7:00pm. Pick up time will be Saturday 8:00am. Cost is $25 if paid by Feb. 7th. Cost will be $35 if paid after the 7th. Pick up a flyer at the front desk. This is a fantastic time for the kids to play games, have arts/crafts, and a whole lot more. Plus you can go out for the whole night knowing your child/children are in a safe place having fun.

Our fun nights are from 6:30-10:00pm. The cost is $10 per child. We sell pizza and we have a snack, soda and Icee machine available. We will be having Karaoke for kids on Friday nights starting in February and on Saturdays Gladiator night. So bring your kids to us for a night of fun and you go out to dinner and a movie or just stay home and enjoy peace and quiet.

Starting in February we will be implementing our Star program. Each child with a current registration fee will be given an elastic band to wear around their waist if they are a girl or their wrist if they are a boy. These bands will have colored stars, bugs, etc. depending on what their level is in our program. This is a good way for the parents to see how their child is progressing. The bands need to worn when your child comes to class. Make sure to write your child’s name on the back of the band so if it becomes lost we will know who it belongs to. Each child will come home with an instruction page on how to sew on the stars. If you are not sure if you registration is current, please see the front desk.

Tuition payments are due By the 5th of the month. Please have your payments made to avoid the late charge. I know some of you have been upset with us because you have been charge a late fee, but we too have bills to pay during the month. Credit card companies etc. charge me when I am late too.

We have our parent handbooks ready to be passed out. This handbook contains important information about the policies and procedures of Gymnastics Plus. Make sure to pick one up from the front desk. All your questions should be answered in this handbook. There are also some valuable coupons inside.

Imagine…no work, no fuss, no dirty house and a Birthday Party that your child will never forget. Let our trained staff make this special occasion in their life a moment they will always remember. Our parties are 1 1/2 hours and the cost is $120 for up to 15 children. A $35.00 deposit with a party contract is all that is needed to book your child’s party. The rest of the payment is due the day of the party. Pick up a flyer at the front desk for details.

We will be having our Spring Break Camp when school is out March 27th thru March 31st. We open at 7am and close at 6pm. Should you be needing child care during that time come and see us. Please pick up a flyer at the front desk details. Our camps are full of fun and exciting activities for ages 4-12.

We will be closed for gym classes the week of March 27th –31st. However we will be open for fun nights, birthday parties and spring break camp. No make ups or prorating of classes are necessary due to the fact that there are 5 weeks in March.

We will happily give you one make-up lesson per month. With nearly 600 students at the Lynn Haven gym, we have to keep our ratios down and keep our gym as safe as possible. Because of this we do our make-ups on Saturdays. When your child is going to miss a class, call the gym ahead of time to qualify them for a make-up. You have 4 weeks from the time of the missed class to make it up. Beachside gym are still permitted to make up classes during the week, depending on availability of classes.

We have both girls & boys pre-team and teams. As our gymnasts move up through the levels we evaluate them to see if they are getting the skills required to be on team. If you think your child would like competitive gymnastics, please bring it to our attention. Leave a message for Ms. Leslie at the front desk and she will give you a call. We will be hosting the 3rd AAU Qualifier here at Gymnastics Plus on March 25th & 26th . Come on out and see what competitive gymnastics is all about. Come support our teams. Katie Daniel TumbleKatz (pre-team). We also want to congratulate Krista Plemmons, Shelby Bennett, Jade Scott, and Cambria Stanley for scoring out of Level 5.

Occasionally it is necessary to change instructors due to circumstances beyond our control. We always do everything possible to keep these changes to a minimum. Thank you to the students and parents for your patience during these changes.

If you choose to watch your kids classes (we love it when you stay and watch) please don’t yell to your child during class. You’re only embarrassing your child and yourself. We want you to be comfortable when you stay during classes, so we’ve provide a few magazines for you to read. When you leave please leave the magazine for the next parents to enjoy. Also we want you to enjoy our concession.
