Dear Parents and Students,
What a blast we had in October! The fall festival was so much fun and the sleepover was absolutely spooktacular! We had a so much FUN! The earliest anyone went to sleep was between 1:30-& 2:00am. We had a group up until 4:30. Thank you to all that came and made it fun.
Now it's time for November plans. There is no school on Friday, November 10th due to Veterans Day. We are opened from 7:00-6:00. Please sign the sheet in the office if your child will be here. We will be going on a field trip to Skate Factory. The cost is $8.00 and includes lunch. If your child will be staying at the gym they will need to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch. A hotdog, chips and a drink are $3.50.
School is also out on November 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We will be open from 7:00-6:00 on Wednesday the 22nd. We will go to the Bailey Bridge Park for a picnic. We will have loads of fun and play games. The cost is $3.00 per child and pays for transportation, extra help and bottled water. Please send your child a PICNIC LUNCH and extra drinks. We cannot warm anything up. If your child is not going, please send them a lunch or money to buy lunch. We will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Just a few reminders for the parents:
- Please remember to call us at 769-1155 if your child is going to be absent or you pick them up from school. We spend a lot of time sitting and waiting trying to find your child; which puts us off schedule.
- There is a $1.00 per minute late charge per child if not picked up by 6:00pm. This is becoming a problem and will be strictly enforced.
- We will not let the children use the phone to call you, unless it is an emergency. Each day we have 10-15 children wanting to call to get a leo or gym clothes, see if someone can go home with them, can they stay for fun night, snack money etc… This is a business phone and cannot be tied up. Please make arrangements with your child for special events.
- Please dress your child properly for the weather, as we will be going outside each day. Your child cannot be in the building without a teacher.
