After School News May 2007
Dear parents & students,
As we come to the end of the school year we want to thank you all of you for letting us share it with you. It was a good one. The last day of school is May 18th and is a ½ day of school. We will be there to pick the kids up early.
Summer Fun Camp starts Monday, May 21st. If you have not registered your child yet, spaces are filling up. Pick up a new enrollment packet and return it with the $45 registration fee. This fee is per child.
We look forward to our best Summer Fun Camp ever! We have planned new field trips and are repeating some of our favorites. Monday is still our "dress crazy day" and Fridays will be our "special activities day". We will do Summer of Wonders; which is a program that teaches about the weather, emergencies and emergency workers, space and other topics that we believe will be interesting to the children. Information sheets will be available at the desk on Wednesday of each week. This will have field trip info and permission slips, cost, lunch info and the deadline to return the slips and payment.
We will start After-School 2007-2008 registration on Monday, July 9th. We must have at least 5 children register from each school to be able to pick up from there. We will start a waiting list from some schools that we are being questioned about such as Merritt Brown and Tyndall. We will also start a waiting list for Waller (we must have 10 sign up). If you are interested in your child being put on a waiting list call Paula at 769-1155.
